Seems very likely that there have been no studies done on it as yet, seeing it is one of the emerging areas of study. Perhaps it is time that someone tried to design a study. We've had a little experience, but the first case was less than spectacular because as I found out later, the uterus wasn't properly empty. We delivered 200 babies a week in the last two weeks, so we should have plenty of material. Would someone like to suggest a framework for a study? Should it be all usual measures plus rectal Cytotec versus all usual measures without Cytotec? There shouldn't be any problems with the ethics. What would be the outcome measures? Perhaps we could make it a multicentre trial and name it the OBGYNNET Trial! Steve Raymond On 7 Jul 2000, at 12:48, Braun, R. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
