Rectal Misoprostol for Postpartal hemorrhage

Do any of you have any good references on its use in this manner. We have been using it, with we think good effect. Our pharmacy has come up with two letters to the editor from Dr.. Ramsey in Alabama which say it has little to no evidence of its working. They also found one study saying it is no more effective than placebo at preventing PP hemorrhage. Help

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
