If, after informed decision, she opts for hyst, then go ahead. If she opts for Megace or Provera, then I would feel that once the hyperplasia is reversd, she needs some sort of ongoing progesterone treatment. Perhaps 10 of provera 14 days per month or perhaps put her on progesterone only OCP. Sample q 6 months for a bit to verify she has stabilised... Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
