Dan was correct that the transfusion was associated with her ortho procedure. Still an interesting case, and impressed that Dr. Stehman had the diagnosis correct. It was one of those answers that when we all heard it, we said "of course"! But not one that I know I was thinking of on my own.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
