Not quite the story that I heard. She did have the old cerebral aneurysm and multiple other problems. She had some kind of ossification around her hip joints which the Orthopods operated on one side witha 1500 cc blood loss for which they gave her 2 units(one had HCG of >100,000). Then she was to have radiation postop within 7 days to prevent a recurrence of the ossification. Radiologist got an HCG which was 175 and refused to radiate a pregnant woman. Hence th GYN consult.
