However, I believe that the misoprostol use *was* administered correctly in this IUFD. 25 mcg dose, and then 4 or 5 hours later, with no real contractions, nothing showing on the monitor and no c/o contractions by the patient, a second dose of 25mcg was given. I will review the chart in the am, and send any clarifying details. How can we say it was definitely due to the miso? How would you use miso in an IUFD?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
