I guess anything is possible....I do think that the comment which made the most sense to me (forgot who posted it) was that it wasn't just the cervix which clamped down, but the entire uterus, due to rupture.

I guess we will never know for sure what happened, and when. The parents consented to an autopsy, placenta was sent to path, cultures obtained etc. Maybe we will know a little more when all the results are in.
