Re: Zovirax / Valtrex beyond & ACOGFrom: Joanne Bulley, MD (jbulley@cheshire.net)Sat May 27 14:59:23 2000
Agree with Joe P. on Valtrex/Beyond. I also have these folks take a B-Complex with 50mg B6 and once daily Lysine supplement. Seeing Dan and Charlie at ACOG was fun. I also saw Lance Talmadge - he went to only the ObGyn-2 list and I told him to check back into the 'regular' list. Wish more of ObGynNetters were there to meet. I got a variety of confirmations of my practices and a number of pearls in the courses I took - Practical Endocrinology, Adolescent Gyn and luncheons for Emergency Contraception and DVT in ObGyn (only this focussed only on the OB thrombophilias). They had a GREAT teen produced musical "revue" called "Think It Through" - I think the libretto/music/choreography for this ought to be available for access to all high school and middle school drama clubs. Our HS hosts a "project Crash" dramatization of a fatal accident a week or so prior to the Prom and the kids are all very affected by it - that day and in future decisions. Joanne B

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
