Why? It wouldn't mean anything, since nobody does them correctly anyhow. The Apgar score is a procedure to be performed at 1 minute and at 5 minutes. When we have Peds come to a delivery, they will at 15 -20 minutes out, as they are leaving and we say you have to give us an Apgar before you leave, stop, think and scratch their chins and say Oh, it was 5 and 8.
