Just got back from ACOG. Overall pretty good meeting. Nothing eye opening though I was surprised by the number of exhibits pushing new formulations of HRT and patches, and ultrasounds with 3d.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bulley and trade stories re: child rearing. Sorry that I didn't get the chance to have lunch with her and Dr. Braun.

Cosgrove lecture was intriguing re: future of medical practice. Though in reality what's going to happen to the business of medicine in the near future is a crap shoot at best.

Stump the professors is always enjoyable. Especially the case of the patient with a positive pregnancy test from a blood trnasfusion.

Anyway, just thought I'd relay a few impressions.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
