As long as the lesion is confined to the cervix, Stage I-B, a cesaeran, radical hysterectomy would be the obvious choice. The real question becomes one of WHEN?? If in your institution, the perinatal Mortality rate is 10-15/ 1000(1-1.5%) or less at 32 weeks, then 32 weeks and 48 hours after steroids would probably be a good time.

A 28 year old lady, para 2 is presently 29 weeks pregnant. She reported with per vaginal bleeding. On examination she was found to have a polypoid growth arising from the cervix. Biopsy of the growth reveals a high grade adenocarcinoma. Clinical examination reveals induration in the left parametrium, right parametrium is free.Parametrial involvement is thus doubtful. I would like to ask the forum how best to manage this case.
