Re: Cervical erosionFrom: Ealgail@aol.comMon Apr 24 23:16:20 2000
In a message dated 4/20/00 4:59:56 AM Pacific Daylight Time, rbraun@iupui.edu writes: << women treated in this way did not develop squamous cell CA of the cervix. >> On the contrary, our gyn oncologist from Sloan Kettering taught that the scarring following electrocautery could conceal a dysplasia or frankly SCC of the cervix by yielding normal pap smears. He was very much against it. Linda Linda Morrison-Boczar, M.D. FACOG

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
