Do you do an US on everyone in Labor??? We have an US machine in our L&D which we use to tell "Heads or Tails", or Is the placenta above the cervix, or Is there any water left. In those cases we subscribe to the ACOG guidelines that say it is OK to do a limited US at term for just one of those reasons. We also do them ourselves without the "sonographer". Dan

Because the Ultrasonographers have been trained to do it every time they do a scan. Some of my juniors miss big babies. Steve
