After the diatribe...was look at the big picture/sympathyFrom: Kevin D. Dew MD (kdew@bellsouth.net)Tue Apr 18 20:08:38 2000
I, for one, have had my fill of the responses and arguments with Theresa G. Her recent post verbally abusing a member of the list is not acceptable. As a professional, I make my request for the list-owner to look into some method of ensuring that only MDs are allowed on the list. I don't know how one would go about this but OB-GYN-L is NOT the forum for patients to discuss their care/malpractice issues or whatever. Kevin Dew, MD Board Cert. Ob/Gyn -----Original Message----- From: ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net [mailto:ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net]On Behalf Of Teresa G Sent: Tuesday, April 18, 2000 7:04 PM To: Multiple recipients of list OB-GYN-L Subject: Re: Step back and look at the big picture...sympathy

*** Resend that to me ... where I blamed the doctor ... it would have
been nice if he and I had talked without the ex in the room (but what
could that have changed -- you love to hear this, so soak this up --> I
HAD NO CHOICE!, perhaps if there had been some type of counselling done
at the ob/gyns on what this is going to do ... to be so young, and to
know, I won't have any more children and go through post-partum and have
HIM for a husband ...
> *** You love the word NORMAL -- define NORMAL ... Perhaps you should apolgize for being such a cruel wormey little doctor .. high on your power ... you are a pathetic example of how a physician treats a patient ... you make me very very sick ... and you remind me of my ex so much ... the careful mean mean wording, written just so ... to make me feel stupid and dirty. How many people have yelled at you today for your power trip ... I could bet you are an abusive partner as well ... and as they say, I'm sure your wife never gets her cookies :) It's all about you isn't it. You don't have to say it, but I'm sure she has left your @$$. Shame on you, shame on you, shame on you. How many people do you crush each day just to get to the top of your hill. How about telling me BETTER LATE THAN NEVER ... I got us out of it as soon as I could ... and I actually did put them in the car and drive us across the state ... and they were very little, and I was very scared .. and I did it. And I forced him through the courts to take parenting classes and he spent 18 days in inpatient care detoxing ... Isn't it time for you to go pick on someone else now ... Hugs and Kisses, Teresa

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
