Respectfully, I don't think that making a midline or larger incision in order to facilitate surgery is a legitimate malpractice issue.

While others may disagree with that which I did, and we all enjoy this scholarly debate, I hardly think this case represents malpractice.

I would be interested in what some of the experience American Ob/Gyns think--Dan, Ashley, Joe.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
