When you say "only in-house cytotec," do you mean that all patients who receive cytotec are admitted and do not go home without being delivered? We only administer cytotec in-house, but if they don't show a response and are patients on whom we can go slowly, it is not unusual to observe them for 1-2 doses over 6-8 hours and discharge to return the next day for a serial induction, with admission and amniotomy/pitocin when the cervix is favorable. In some patients this can take a couple of days.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
