endometriosis, long term use of lupron with add backFrom: dean (docdean@nconnect.net)Thu Mar 30 10:12:21 2000
I have a 20 year old who has had a total of 4 laparoscopies for lazer ablation/excision of endometriosis. She was hesitent to go an lupron until after the third scope. I then palced her on lupron and she did well. She went off lupron and had a recurrence within 6 months. She has now been on lupron for 3 years with add back therapy and is doing well. does anyone have experience with such long-term use?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
