Several years ago I had a woman, who was very well known in the community, bring in urine for a VERY unexpected pregnancy test. Someone who knew her saw her come in, and that woman later called the office, disguising herself, and just asked "about the results of the test" (We didn't give them to her) Perhaps you could tell her that the reason we have to be so careful is that so no one else can call and get her results! I certainly understand her anxiety, I have been there myself, but it should be addressed. Mark Smith,MD

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
