new patient: 34yo with hx of fullterm delivery followed by 4 losses 20-24 weeks, three of them with cerclage in place. next viable delivery at 27 weeks with cerclage and PROM. last summer had another loss at 22 weeks with cerclage and PROM. shows up today with a stack of records and at 20 weeks. u/s shows cvx with funneled membranes--almost hourglassing.. closed external os and anatomically nl fetus.cvx length 2.8cms. think a cerclage is the answer at this late date with the above poor hx? any suggestions.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
