Lupron in pregnancy

I generally prefer to lurk on this list, since I have more to learn than to contribute, but I would like information that I have not seen posted here. I got a call today from a previous client. She has been given Lupron for treatment of endometriosis. It turns out that she was pregnant when she received the injection. Termination is not an option for her. Of course, the literature is pretty sparse about this issue. Does anyone have any experience with this? She will be coming to me for midwifery care.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
