Today the right adnexal mass increased to 6 x 7 cm with US carachteristics of tuboovarian abscess. The patient is afebrile, 6600 white cells count , no left deviation, high globular sedimentation velocity (56 / 95). Very painful bimanual palpation. The patient confess today that all this process (metrorraghia, abdom. pain, left tobbovarian abscess...) started after sexual relations, 2 months ago with an old boyfriend who just left 6 months prision. She denied any sexual relations for the last 6 months before today. we convinced her for HIV test ( Inmunosupression ? Tuberculosis origin?)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
