I'm in the process of recruiting another doc with the intention of having him/her as an employee for a couple of years then having them buy into the practice.

I have no clue how to do this properly.

I realize that I need a lawyers help at some point but I need to know the basics.

As per the subject line, does any member of the list know of a "dummies guide" to adding an associate or starting a multispecialty clinic?

MGMA maybe?

any help would be appreciated.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
