I had a patient similar to #2. Profuse watery discharge for a year or so. Age around 48. Known fibroid for several years, not changed recently. The discharge was initially thought to be urine, but a tampon in the vagina proved it to be coming through the cervix. Occasionally slightly bloody. Endometrial biopsy normal. I was a little worried about fallopian tube carcinoma. At surgery there was no explanation.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
