questionsFrom: charlie chambers (cchamber@mnic.net)Sat Feb 26 09:23:26 2000
two questions for the group: 1. after preoperative treatment of a patient with a GnRH agonist for 2 months for leiomyoma, is it possible to not have pathologic evidence of leiomyoma in the hysterectomy specimen? 2. any suggested explanations for patient with significantly profuse transcervical watery discharge? tubes and ovaries normal at surgery. only preoperative findings, large white area to anterior fundus, but nonpathologic. Significant pelvic adhesive disease suggesting prior PID. Findings not consistent with any fistula. Discharge approximantely 100 cc at time of exam. -- ############################################################################

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
