the problem facing us is still that we do not know the pathophysiology of fetal/neonatal morbidity/mortality in many instances such as postdates. this is why we are faced with these sorts of cases. until we know what the mechanisms are, we will continue to be at a loss to explain these cases. that is why the best antepartum continues to be a postpartum.

Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
