i do a single channel bladder and urethral pressure profile. calculates out ucp and you get peak bladder and urethral pressures reported so if you want leak point pressures you can use them too. the monitor reads out on graph paper and you can look for spasms. thats as complex as i get <residual volume and capacity and uc checked as well of course>.

that's all i do. standard of care from what i have been told.

clinically i pick up the ones i am suspicious for urethral incompetence on but i sure don't want a failure and have not done at least this level of testing. my opinion derived from experts at courses i have attended on stress incontinece therapy and surgical repair.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
