Re: VBAC, Three previous CS.From: Malcolm Griffiths (obsdoc@doctors.org.uk)Sun Jan 30 10:06:46 2000
I delivered women with previous CS>1. I have supervised trials in wome with up to five previous CS (never had a delivery vaginally with more tha two CS, but the women who try and fail are happy to have tried. Providing supervision is adequate and you have spontaneous labour I'm happy to try. As with many other listers I have given up pelvimetry (for any indication) years ago. The predictive value of the test is appalling. It simply is the case that if any of the measurments are small then you go for CS - hence small measurements predict CS! As for "el" - where is your sense of infomed choice and consent?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
