You notice that I said if she has been on the estrogen for awhile already, you might try it. In other words, she might no longer need it for the vasomotor symptoms. I don't think that it causes vasomotor symptoms, but it does nothing to releve them. I was suggesting it as an alternative so that she could get off the estrogen. Then maybe the mask would disappear.
