APLASTIC ANAEMIA IN PREGNANCYFrom: DR. SUMITA (gspannu@tm.net.my)Fri Jan 14 23:23:58 2000
I HAVE THIS 35 YRS G5P4 AT 14 WKS PREGNANCY WITH APLASTIC ANAEMIA DIAGNOSED 3 YRS AGO AFTER HER LAST DELIVERY. CURRENTY HER PLATELET COUNTS IS 18,000/CMM , WBC 1800/ CMM . SHE IS PLANNED FOR TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY AND TUBAL LIGATION THIS WEEK. I FEEL SUCTION TERMINATION UNDER COVER OF PLATELET TRANSFUSION WILL BE THE MOST PREDICTABLE AND SORTEST PROCESS AT THIS GESTATION ALSO THOUGH MORE CUMBERSOME. ANY EXPERIANCE AND VALUABLE SUGGESTIONS OR REFERANCES FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS CASE WILL BE MUCH APPRICIATED

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
