Dear colleagues,

I would like to discuss the following case.

We are confronted with a gravida 3, para 2, with a placenta praevia totalis at 23 weeks of pregnancy. Now she had an intrauterine fetal death of unknown origin. We are trying to postpone labor as long as possible and will aim for a spontaneous vaginal delivery. When we are forced to intervene earlier, the question rises whether to do a cesarean section parva or to try a nalador induction.

We are very interested in your opinion or experiences concerning this problem.

Thank you for your reply.

Yours sincerely,

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
