Young 15 yo girl without any treatment

Referred for non specific abdominal pain for several weeks US showed a polycystic abdominopelvic mass

Operated today

Ascitis (1/2 liter) Polystic mass (20 cms) with clear mucous content, necrotic in some places instead of the right ovary. No other lesions except peritoneal adhesions and a suspect place on the left ovary.

Done: unilateral ovariectomy and multiple biopsies No frozen section after advice ot the pathologist (fear to misdiagnose in this young one)
