Young 15 yo girl without any treatment Referred for non specific abdominal pain for several weeks US showed a polycystic abdominopelvic mass Operated today Ascitis (1/2 liter) Polystic mass (20 cms) with clear mucous content, necrotic in some places instead of the right ovary. No other lesions except peritoneal adhesions and a suspect place on the left ovary. Done: unilateral ovariectomy and multiple biopsies No frozen section after advice ot the pathologist (fear to misdiagnose in this young one) Comments:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
