Dear list members, I would like the list members opinion on managing a baby who has ? Erbs palsy. The patient was posted for C-Section but she progressed very fast and she went into 2nd stage. Head was delivered very easily. But there was shoulder dystocia. With great difficulty posterior shoulder was delivered. Baby weighed 4.5kg. Baby had mild asphyxia. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
