I asked this question of the manufactor and was told that since animal studies indicate the effects may linger that it should not be used in premenopausal women due to the theoretical concern about future affects on fetal bone formation during subsequent pregnancy.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
