I have just graduated from Nursing school here in Canada, and have applied to OB fields of nursing, I dont' know how your program works, but in our last year we do an 8 week consolodation which i did in labour and delivery and postpartum which helps to find jobs in this area since i have the experience

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
