Post C/S assessments

We are re-looking at our Postpartum management Protocol in regards to frequency of assessments post c/s. Currently, for the post op c/s we do vital signs, fundal checks, incision assessments and breath sounds every four hours x 48 hours and then every 8 hrs until discharge if there are no issues.

I would appreciate any feedback from other institutions.
