Hi , My name Is Mark I am a labor and delivery nurse, and am very interested in others experiences in this area. I love my job my patients really like the doctors have been great to me. The only problem is that some of the older female nurses dont believe I can or should work in this area. I feel as long as my patients need me , I supply a quality service which they need. Am very compassionate and caring. I wish all nurses could be professionals and accept me for who i am, and see that I do a terrific job. all I ask is to be treated equally and fairly. I have no plans of changing my area of practice as long as i love it and my patients need me.lets all mork together for the beniefit of our patients and our profession.thanks, mark

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
