Anyone know the effects of using Betadine as an external vaginal wash throughout a pregnancy. Can it potentially harm a baby with the iodine and possible affect it's thyroid. What tests are done once baby is born to determine this? Is it perm.?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
