I really appreciate >it! > Abby Abby, please get yourself sorted with some form of contraception. It will be most likely that you will get pregnant doing this. Periods happen after ovulation. Ovulation is when the egg is released in your body ready waiting for the sperm to meet it to make a baby. At some point you will get your periods, whether it be next month or next year. Long before that first period (about 2 weeks) starts you will release an egg and have no knowledge of this. If you have sex, you will most likely get pregnant..........so unfortunately you will never get to see your first period start. You'll just have a baby instead. 13 and half is way to young to be starting your own family and I am really sure that it is not what you want. So please, please make sure you use contraception. The pill or even better a condom EVERY time you have sex. I'm sure you wont listen to me if I say you should really wait until you are a bit older for sex...so I won't bother with that little lecture....But please do listen to me about contraception. I have just had my first baby at 35 and I couldnt imagine going through that at your age. There is no way I would have coped emotionally, physically and financially. Take care of yourself.
