I am 19 years old, and have been on Yasmin for 9 months now and i run the pill on for 3 months continuously and then i have a 7 day break. i do this because i have had a lot of peroid related problems and this was the treatment given. it was working fine up until 2 months ago. i am now bleeding on and off every few days even though i am taking the pill every day as i normally do. i went to my doctor and he took swobs which were all clear and mentioned something about hormone levels and wanted to put me on hormone level treatment what does he think is wrong? And what treatment is used for hormone levels? Also what other problem could there be to have caused this intermittent bleeding? Thanks
