I am 21 years old and have had my period since I was in 5th grade. So I have had my period for a while already and that is what makes me think that this is a stupid question. I have been using tampons sinc I can remember. Just recently I had my period and had a tampon in. I was in a big rush on my lunch break and changed my tampon to put another one in. Later on that day I wondered if I took out the tampon i had in before i put in the new one. I thought i was just acting stupid b/c i've never fogotten before and couldn't see how i would forget. So i just assumed I was over reacting like i usually do. I have had no problems with my periods since then, but i have had some unusual cramping that i've never noticed before. I know that it could just be my body changing... and i have had some pain while having sex. but that only happened once and it's never happened again.. could it really be possible that i have a tampon in my uterus? i feel really embarased about this but at the same time i feel a little worried.

please help if you can. thank you C
