So no one thinks that this is Alyssa, I am spending the night with her, and I asked her this same question, and she suggested I post it here. My mom took me to the emergency room for abdominal pain, and she thought it was a bladder infection. it was, but the doctor wanted to do a pelvic exam and asked me if it mattered what gender, and I said it didn't matter. well, they sent in a female, and she started to pull the paper back to feel of my belly, I started getting nervous. then after she finished feeling of my stomach, she snapped on gloves and began to explain what would happen. Then came the time to do the pelvic, and I wouldn't put my feet in the stirrups. She asked me what was wrong, and I said I didn't know, and she put my feet in the stirrups and felt of my labia, and I snapped my legs closed, and she left the room and sent in a male to do it because I wouldn't cooperate. He began the same routine with feeling of my belly, and I was fine. he did the pelvic with no problem. I seem to be more comfortable with male doctors. what could be the reason for this?
