You could get an IUD. You or your partner could have permanent sterilization. The "lowest dose" pill is not necessarily the correct answer for all pill side effects, as changes in the progesterone component are responsible for most changes in side effects, so it may well be that there is a pill that you can use, or you could consider the progesterone only pill (mini-pill).
