You could try the patch or the new ring, both of which bypass the GI tract and would be expected to cause less GI side effects. You could get an IUD. You or your partner could have permanent sterilization. The "lowest dose" pill is not necessarily the correct answer for all pill side effects, as changes in the progesterone component are responsible for most changes in side effects, so it may well be that there is a pill that you can use, or you could consider the progesterone only pill (mini-pill).
