It sounds like you are emotional, but sounds like you are deeply invested in how you feel. There certainly are pharmacologic supplements that can damping your feelings, and psychotherapy may be able to help you control your emotions, but in my opinion people don't feel enough and unless it gets in the way of your ability to cope with life, you sound like you just have a healthy dose of empathy.
