It's called dysmenorrhea and the treatment is either going to be birth control pills OR pills called NSAIDs and examples of these are Advil, Motrin, Anaprox, Alleve. To get the pill or prescription strength NSAIDs, you need to see a doctor. Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information. Dr. M
