Jessy, Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time. Painful periods are NOT normal no matter what your doctor tries to tell you. If you are in this much pain, you may want to see about finding another dr if yours won't take you seriously. There is a chance that you could have endometriosis. Painful periods is one of the first signs of this disease. I had endo symptoms since the age of 12 and some women even younger. You may want to check it out, see if you have any of the other symptoms. If you have any questions about it, I will be more than happy to send you some info about endo that I have saved. You do need a dr that will take you seriously. You should not be in this much pain from just your period. Doctors have been telling women that it's normal for many years, but it's not.
