I am experiencing itching on my labia(occasionally) as well as some rough dry patches on the outside of my labia between my inner thigh and vaginal opening. I am currently on birth control and occasionally use boric acid capsules when I experience a yeast infection. The last time I inserted a capsule was last week and the last time I was sexually active was a month ago. My period is expected in one week, however the humidity and hot weather are making the itching unbearable. I have refrained from even wearing panties because the pain is so bad. I also have been trying to drink more water and keep the area clean. Is there anything that I can do besides visiting an ob/gyn, I am currently without medical insurance and in a tight financial situation. Thank you.
