im 19 years old and have been sexually active with my boyfriend for the past 8 months. i started on ortho-tricyclene in January but noticed that i had become very dry-to the point where intercourse was painful and avoided. i changed my pills to loestrin in may and i thought that this Rx would be different. well it isn't. My doctor doesn't really seem to care to much about my problem. she only suggested a different pill. im not sure what to do anymore. i dont want the risk of getting pregnant but this is upsetting me and my boyfriend. Lubrication helps for a little while but it makes my boyfriend feel that i am un-attracted to him. What can i do? Should i just stop taking the pill? i really dont have the time or patience to try out different forms of birth control. Can you please be more helpful then my doctor!!!?
