what will be recommended depends on what is found on exam -- you may jsut be instructed to gently dilate your hymen by using tampons, starting with a junior and moving up to supers. If hte hymen is imperforate (meaning it is almost solid(, hten a simple office surgery procedure may be recommended. You need to see a gyn - besides, you need ot see a gyn to discuss contraception and safer sex practices anyway
