PCOD + Ovarian tumor?

I was recently diagnosed with Polycistic ovarian disease. My endo sent me to have an ultrasound done. While doing this test the radiologist stated that my ovaries were very high and far apart, thus making it nearly impossible to get a clear picture of them. Since that initial testing I've had a CT scan with contrast and a sonogram. They still cannot see the right ovary which they believe may have a tumor on it. My question is this, whats left to do so they can see if this is just a cyst or an actual tumor on my ovary?
