OCP's do not always prevent ovulation. One of the reasons they are so effective is that they work by 3 other mechanisms as well as prevention of ovulation.

My gynecologist just said "good qusetion" and >"lets wait and see".

Numbers 1 and 2 make it sound an awful lot like IC. The hydrodistention test is usually not positive until late in the process. Refer your Urologist and Gynecologist to the work of Dr. C. Lowell Parsons.

These last 5 items are things are a lot more dificult to deal with and may take many visits to your physicians.
